Originally from Lancaster; Came to Lebanon and enrolled in Company H – Buried at Woodward Hill Cemetery, Lancaster – VFW Post 23 was named after him.

Harpel, George – Private, Company H; Residence: Lebanon, Pa.; Enrolled June 17, 1898; Mustered In June 17, 1898; Unofficially reported dead September 13, 1898 at Ponce, Porto Rico.

Heberling, William H. - Private, Company H; Residence: Lebanon, Pa.; Enrolled June 17, 1898; Mustered In June 17, 1898; Mustered Out with Company November 16, 1898

Private, Company G, 3rd Regiment, PVI; Residence: Philadelphia, Pa.; Enrolled January 12, 1899 at Philadelphia, Pa.; Promoted to Corporal February 15, 1899; Service in Philippines February 2 to March 31, 1899; Died March 31, 1899 at Manila, Philippines of wounds received March 24 near that place.

Lewis, James L. - His connection to Lebanon City and County has not yet been determined.  No information was found in the Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry rosters of 1898 for duty in the Caribbean, and nothing has been found that would connect him with the Philippine Insurrection of 1899 - 1902.  It is possible he was enrolled in the Regular Army, Cavalry or Navy during either time.

Michael, Reuben H. - Quarter Master Sergeant, Company F; Residence: Lebanon, Pa. (N.G.P.); Enrolled April 28, 1898; Mustered In May 10, 1898; died August 19, 1898, in Reserve Hospital at Guayama, Porto Rico.

Shay, John H. – Private, Company H; Residence: Lancaster, Pa.; Enrolled June 30, 1898; Mustered In July 2, 1898; Died at Fort Monroe October 16, 1898 of Typhoid Fever contracted in Porto Rico.

Originally from Lancaster, the only connection to Lebanon City or County found so far is his Enrollment into Company H.

Yeagly, Edward A. - Private, Company H; Residence: Lebanon, Pa. (N.G.P); Enrolled April 28, 1898; Mustered In May 10, 1898; Mustered Out with Company November 16, 1898.

It seems most likely that he died during the Philippine Insurrection 1899 - 1902.
